- Open Embed Store Settings: Scroll down to the "Store Configuration" section and click on the "Embed Store" tile.
- Copy Snippets: Here, you'll find the HTML snippet and script tag needed for embedding your store. Copy both snippets to your clipboard.
Step 2: Embed the HTML Snippet
- Access Your Website Editor: Log in to the content management system (CMS) or website builder where you manage your organization’s website. This could be platforms like WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or any other HTML-based editor.
- Choose the Location: Decide where on your website you want to display your store. This could be a new page or an existing one.
- Paste HTML Code:
- CMS: Navigate to the page or section where you want to add the store and switch to HTML or code view. Paste the HTML snippet you copied into the editor.
- Plain HTML: Open the HTML file for the page where you want to add the store and paste the HTML snippet into the appropriate section of the file.
Step 3: Add the Script Tag
- Locate the Code Editor: Find the code editor feature in your website editor. Depending on your website editor, the code editor may be located under the Features section or within the <head> section.
- Paste the Script Tag: Paste the script tag you copied into the code editor. Be aware that the editor might already contain code, such as <head> or <p>Hello, World!</p>.
Step 4: Save and Publish
- Save Changes: After adding the HTML and script tag, save the changes in your website editor.
- Publish: Ensure that you publish or update the page to make your store visible to visitors.
Preview First: Before publishing, preview the page to ensure the store displays correctly and functions as expected.
